Happy Boxing Day Everyone!
Good luck to any of you brave enough, or crazy enough, to join in the mall madness. Me, I'm headed to the park right after Canada hopefully womps Sweden in their first World Junior Hockey game. Go Canada!
Hope everyone is having themselves a nice holiday filled with family, friends and excessive amounts of turkey, stuffing, shortbread and spirits.

I'm not leaving my favourite chair this fine Boxing Day. I have my book and a stack of magazines and a pot of tea, and I would rather gouge my eyes out with a spoon than go anywhere near a mall.
The hubby is watching the hockey as well. Yay Canada!
Hope you enjoy your turkey leftovers as much as I intend to.
I hope Canada is winning! We don't get the hockey game in the States. Feels weird not watching hockey on Boxing Day.
Hope you're having a relaxing day :)
YEA CANADA. We "own", as my son would say.
Merry Boxing day my dear. Hope all is well.
boxing day shopping is a 4 letter word....so to speak....don't count them I know it really isn't....geeesh
Barbara B, I'm with you on the whole mall thing. Your hubby should have been in a good mood yesterday after Canada's win. Hopefully we can do it again today! I can't wait. I think the World Junior Hockey Tournament is one of the most fun sporting events of the year. Hope you enjoyed rereading Bridget Jones Diary. My mom sent home a care package of turkey for my cat! He has been eating nonstop ever since.
Allison, that would feel weird. Hockey on Boxing Day is a tradition around here. No doubt football is somewhere on the dial down there. Hey, I see you have some exciting news to share. Can't wait to hear what it is!!
Deb, are you and Ty watching the hockey game today? I think screaming for Team Canada could be cathartic and a good way to scream out some of the hardships you're presently facing. Take care Deb.
Kelly, no, you're right. Boxing day shopping is a four letter word. I hate crowds and lineups so there is absolutely nothing about shopping on the busiest shopping day of the year that appeals to me.
i was smart enough to know better. i stayed home in my pj's. happy boxing day to you.
Well Guggs we managed to squeak past the Americans. In the end I guess it was more than a squeak but it was certainly nerve wracking there for awhile.
