Friday's Random Shuffle
I planned on stealing an idea from Johnny Yen but the day kind of got away from me. It was just too nice outside to be inside. Yesterday he posted "10 Songs I Wish I Had Written". I think it sounds like a fascinating idea. I'm going to give it a whirl sometime this weekend. Maybe some of you would like to try the same.
Today's Random Shuffle:
1. Song for the Angels: Great Lake Swimmers
2. A7th Minor: Jill Barber
3. To Leave It Behind: Great Lake Swimmers (I won't argue with Great Lake Swimmers showing up twice.)
4. I'd Like You for Christmas: Julie London (Do I even know this song? Where did this song come from?)
5. Come Running: Van Morrison
6. Even If Love: Bonnie "Prince" Billy
7. That Teenage Feeling: Neko Case
8. Demolition Girl: (Now that's just funny. This was a comedy sketch posted by Evelyne awhile back.)
9. Written on the Sky: Max Richter
10. Night in the City: Joni Mitchell

Mellowlee, it is funny and I have listened to it periodically but I was certainly surprised to see it come up today. My list probably says more about my organizational skills or lack thereof! Hey, how are you feeling?

What a fantastic playlist! There is so much to love on there, not the least of which is demolition girl - she was so funny.

Barbara, I directed everyone I knew to that Demolition Girl and needless to say it was a huge hit with my students.

Like you said, ain't modern medicine great! Although I kind of think if modern medicine was great they would be able to cure the cold. I think it's a plot by the pharmaceutical companies. Think how much they would stand to lose if someone actually did cure the common cold!
