Fido was so much fun. I highly recommend it. You
will not be disappointed. The writer and director of the film is Andrew Currie who just so happens to have grown up in Victoria! He also co-produced "The Delicate Art of Parking" which hopefully many of you Canadians managed to see. He is going to be in attendance next Saturday for a question and answer following the show. We're going again. I mean really there are just not enough times one gets to wander around town dressed up as a zombie so any opportunity to do so must be grabbed. Now that I have seen the show my costume is going to be awesome. I have already started making my zombie controlling collar!

This is for Kelly who can't seem to get enough of squirrels! This little fella is some guy's pet. I managed to refrain myself from writing him and pointing out the obvious that the squirrel is a wild rodent and statistically squirrels have tested positive for rabies more often than skunks and bats! I'm not really sure if that last statement is true or not but I recall reading it in a mystery book somewhere so it must be true.

Last night was an awesome night of hockey. The game between Montreal and Toronto was fantastic although unfortunately Toronto lost 3-2 in a shootout. My poor Leafs. Life has not been kind to them.

But at least my second favorite team won! Yeah Canucks!

Hope you all are having yourselves a very nice Sunday.

I have been wanting to see the Delicate Art of Parking, but it has never been shown anywhere around here (that I am aware of - mind you there is much I am not aware of).

You're going to see Fido again? With a control collar? Excellent! I cannot wait to see it now.

And that squirrel photo - I have an overwhelming urge to turn on that desk lamp to see what happens next.

I have not seen either...mind you, as soon as I learned of Fido I thought of you Barb and wondered if you'd be seeing it. Dressing up makes it sooo much better, doesn't it.

Thanks for making the game so much fun last night. We'll have to make it a regular thing.

That guy's crazy...doesn't he know that the squirrel could turn on him and kick his arse?

Kelly, aww, that'll teach you.

Dooga, I'm presently trying to figure out a way to ship the kool things back to you where they came from! You can expect a parcel anyday now.

Barbara, no wonder why Canadian filmakers have such a difficult time getting seen. It's hard to see them. Here they often end up being shown at the university for one night only and often on a week night which right there cuts down on the number of people that can get out and see them.

Deb, that was a lot of fun. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm with you there.

668, the best ones have been sent to me. I have to get better at finding the cool stuff on the web.

That photo made me think of the squirrel in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life." It was odd-- it showed up in scenese in the bank.

Johnny Yen, It's a Wonderful Life had squirrels? I so do not remember that.

I can't wait to see Fido! It looks hilarious. Score another one for Canadian cinema.

Squirrels? Eeeeek! I'm not sure what it is about them but they freak me out. I might not be able to come back and visit until this post has disappeared....
