I Want My Own Spirit Bear

These pictures were emailed to me. I have no idea who actually took them but I do know they were taken near Golden, B.C. I'm trying to find out who took them and if I do I will let you know.

A mother bear and her white cub! I wish I had seen them. I think it might be a Kermode "Spirit" Bear but that is just a guess from a little web surfing on my part.

I am so behind in my blog hopping. Sorry if I have missed your posts of late. Since
Dan,
already took the excuses of trying to garner world peace and abduction by aliens,
I guess all I'm left with is the mundane excuse of too much work and not enough play time. A bit of a break comes up, but looking at the calendar I see it will be short lived. BC provincial exams are right around the corner. Agh!
I'll quit complaining knowing I do have the entire summer off! I can't wait for summer. I'm headed to Montreal to study art! My student card came in the mail this week. I want to start packing now.

the kermode bears come from an island up in the queen charlottes...i wonder if thats like a registered trademark?

Hi Kelly, I know. It's not Los Cabos or wherever the heck it was you got to escape winter to but it will definitely do!

Barbara, I'm pretty excited. I figure how can I go wrong? From what everyone says Montreal is a great city and I'll be doing art. I am also hoping to take in some good music!
