These were taken on Drolet a narrow street a couple of blocks away from where I am staying. The entire street is filled with different coloured houses. If you want to live in a hot pink house you can. Or if you prefer... purple, orange, red or peacock blue.
This is along St. Denis. I am living on St. Denis although my block would be considered a little less posh than this one. I do however have the cool condom store right across the street but sadly that picture I need to rotate. What is the French word for rotate?
This was taken in Chinatown. I was completely smitten by all the Chinese art supplies on display during a sidewalk sale.
This is right around the corner from me. It`s kind of a bad shot in that it is right next door to an incredible home that speaks of wealth and opulence. In my head I was taking a shot of the juxtaposition of incredible wealth next to something that had seen better days but of course without the rich house this shot is kind of belongs to the, "Why did you take that picture?" I ask myself that very question a lot of times when I see my pictures.
Since I can`t take pics of Sammy Jo I had to content myself with this cute fluff ball on a ledge a couple of floors up.
I adore these spirals. Domes and spirals dot the city but these are some of my favorite. They are not the most grand but I love them all the same.
This is just as you enter Old Town bordering on the Financial District.
Dawson College. I passed this school on my way to art class. Every time I did I couldn`t help but ask, "Why?" I hope the students that were there on that terrible day I doing ok and I hope Anastasia Rebecca de Sousa`s family is managing and finding some sort of comfort with friends and family and their memories.
This building is also on my walk to art class. I am so going to miss these buildings! I will be glad to see the ocean once again though.
Oh dear the computer is flashing a warning sign of impending termination so I had better click publish now!
Take care everyone.

Rotate is "pivoter" (before I forget to tell you!).
Those pictures are great, Sherbrooke Street is a great street which changes a lot from one end to the other (it's an extremely long one).
Might sounds stupid to ask, but where are all those used record stores? I haven't found one that I like yet, on St-Laurent, St-Denis, Ste-Catherine?
I'll leave Montreal during the weekend of the 18, it would be nice if we could meet before you leave.
great pics!
I feel like I have just been on vacation!
I would love to live in one of those lovely yellow rowhouses. Or a peacock blue one would be nice too. So many decisions!
Gorgeous, as always!

Wow! Those buildings are great! I also liked the pic of your Sammy Jo. He looks a lot like my cat in that pic. It sounds like you are moving. All the best to you.
Since it has been so bloody long since I have been around instead of answering you back I'm in the process of visiting all of you instead. Sorry for the neglect.
I really like that first picture, the way the colours of the two central buildings leap out at you. Looks like you had fun in Montreal!
