Would Someone Please Turn This Day into Friday
Thanksgiving is over but not the turkey. Leftovers anyone?
My parents were here last week for Thanksgiving, my mother's birthday and their 57th wedding anniversary. They left yesterday and although this is supposed to be a short week I am finding I am behind, (all the more reason to procrastinate by blogging) and the short week is turning into one heck of a long grueling week. Friday cannot come soon enough!
At least this morning I'm off to my art class. Thought of skipping it and trying to catch up on my "real" work but forget that nonsense, much better to continue the week flying by the seat of my pants rather than miss my favorite thing. One more hour before I have to head out I guess I really should use it to get ready for my probability students today. That course is a real time sapper and the main reason I have not been around much.
Here's hoping all of you are finding this week shorter than I am.

No mistake opting for art class - I dare say it will torque your mind in all the "right" ways!
I actually should've been at the laundromat already but, in true blogger fashion, am procrastinating my pants off (that sounds rather yucky, doesn't it?).
This week is a weird one - my shifts are all over the place. But the Canucks play tonight, so everything should fall into place after that.
Good for you with sticking to the art class, despite being behind. One should never give up creativity in order to make room for responsibility. Did that make any sense at all?
(Hope your Mom had a great birthday!)
Leazwell, I feel much better after having spent the morning doing art.
Deb, well to continue with the trend I'm back commenting to you instead of doing what I came onto the computer to do which was to check out my student's assignments for this week! I'm hopefully done teaching tonight at 8:30 and will be able to catch part of the game. If so I will check in with you. I look forward to our Saturday night marathons that we had last year during the games.
A helterskelter spiralling downwards...
... story of my life really!
No! I jest! I'm writing my lifestory now...
(I keep telling people so's I'll bloody FINISH it haha! ;->...)
Hey- long time no hear!
Why is it that those short weeks sometimes seem longer than the regular ones? Maybe we expect too much of those weeks.
I agree that you need to continue with the art classes. I'm glad you have your priorities straight. And that you got to enjoy time with your parents.
i agree this week has a long one.
and good for going to class!
Gledwood, I know I've not been around much that's for sure. Alas, work has gotten in the way of play time.
Barbara, I might still be behind but I must admit I felt a lot less stressed after my art class. Now I figure if I can just get through tomorrow then I am home free!
668, I'm with you there. Hopefully the two of us can recoup on the weekend.
I love that photo!
Hope your art classes are going swimmingly...tis almost the weekend!
Allison, I fell in love with the spiral stairways in Montreal. Yahoo, I am done work for the day and tomorrow is Friday.
i can't see that anybody has been harassing you...guess I need to start up again
Probability students?!!??
Kelly, clearly I need a little harrassing or backside kicking to get me blogging again! By the way pretty exciting about those Riders! I would love to be at that playoff game.
Danny Tagalog, those probability students are one hell of a time sucker upper. I will be glad when I'm through teaching this course. It's fun just a ton of work.
