The Water Bowl
For the last two weeks Sammy Jo has decided to drink water from one of three places: a glass, the bowl with the floating candles or the toilet. His water dish absolutely not! Won't touch it.
Please tell me I'm not the only pet owner with a weird pet! So what have your furry friends been up to?

I can't say much about cats, but I think Sammy Jo is in a category by hisself. ;)
My dog is civilized though. And listens to instruction.

My cat is living with my parents, but does too many weird things: loves to be in the bathroom when we shower, loves to sleep with her toys (holding the toy between her paws), eat plants (mostly bamboo) and loves to sleep in the bathroom, it basically is her room, other rooms won't work...
But to defend cats, when my sister whistle, her cat comes right away

Our old cat used to insist upon having a big Oktoberfest mug filled with water on the side table by the couch and he used to drink from that. And he would hang his chest hair into the mug!
Sputnik on the other hand eats soap.

Mine is Chechu, weird name, I know. Born during the Tour de France and in French, this kind of cat is called Spanish cat... so she had to have the name of a Spanish rider: José Luis Rubiera, his nickname is Chechu. My sister's one is Valverde (the 2 cats are sisters) named after Alessandro Valverde... people use think that we are a bit weird when it comes to naming animals... we've had weird names.
Evelyne, my cat was named after Samantha from Bewitched and then I discovered she was a he so I decided Samantha would not do. Our neighbour's cat is called Asparagus. Now that's pretty weird!

You should have taken that opportunity to 'nudge' your cat fully into the toilet and then taken another picture :0]
Dogga, that's horrible! It sure would have made a heck of a picture though.
Until the betas died my cat would only drink out of the fish bowl. Now he and the dogs share the same bowl.

Berachavalley, I just looked at the pics of mr bond the cat. He does look pretty darn cute in his red and white scarf.
Mel, whoa Mel you and I were writing at the exact time! Cats certainly can be entertaining can't they? Although I prefer when they keep their entertaining ways to daylight hours and not when we're trying to sleep!
I think it's a cat thing to just decide the bowl's not good enough. Love that Sammy Jo.
I no longer have pets, but if I catch my kids doing that, they're outta here.
Deb, I think you're kids are going to be hanging around awhile. Somehow I can't quite picture Linds stooping to the toilet bowl even in a national emergency!
