Here are the rules and regulations which I swiped via copy/paste from that unnamed zombie. Here are quotations from 15 of my favourite movies. See if you can name the films from whence they were lifted. (no googling or imdbing, I'm trusting you on this). I'll post the film names as they are correctly identified.
****In my case the following quotes do not all belong to my top fifteen favorite movies. In fact one quote belongs to a movie I absolutely hated. Now there's two hours I will never get back and I want them back. The movie was a smash hit and my brother asked, "How could you not like ______, everyone liked _______!" Also, once I started going through the different quote banks I started travelling down memory lane and so some of the movies were picked for reasons of nostalgia and times spent with good friends and family. On top of that I love movies so how in the heck are you supposed to pick a top fifteen?
1. I lied. I actually have three children. I thought it might make me sound less married. How could I deny little Debbie like that?
2. I believe in animal attraction, I believe in love at first sight, I believe in this, and I don't feel it with you.
3. We released ourselves on our recognisance...We felt the institution had nothing left to offer us.
4. I'm a teacher not a Holiday Inn.
5. I am the perfect servant...I have no life.
6. Mantovani?! That's what they play for insomniacs who don't respond to strong drugs!
7. I heard it on the wind, I heard it in the trees, I heard it in the streams, and your mom was just in here crying bout it.
8. If this factory ever produces a shell that can actually be fired, I'd be very unhappy.
9. You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? Batman
10. Too many notes.
11. Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in. American Beauty
12. Have you ever fallen in love with someone you haven't even talked to? Have you ever been so alone you spend the night confusing a man in a coma? While You Were Sleeping
13. Marriage is just a way of getting out of an embarrassing pause in conversation.
14. Christmas? Christmas means dinner, dinner means death! Death means carnage, Christmas means carnage!
15. Salaga-doola, menchika-boola, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Put them together, and what have you got? Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Salaga-doola, menchika-boola, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.
So, what are some of your favorite movies and movie lines?

#9 - Batman
#11 - American Beauty
What was your favourite quote that I "stole"? :)
Allison #15. That line cracks me up everytime I hear it or see it in print.
#12 - it's that Sandra Bullock one where she falls in love with guy who's in a coma who's the brother of the guy she sees on the train all the time that she has a crush on. I have no idea what it's called.
And I keep thinking #5 is Howard's End, but they didn't talk like that then, so that's wrong. Obviously I must think more.
Thanks for playing though, you are a mensch.
Ack! Allison beat me to the one I know! haha! This is a fun game though toccata.
i watch lots of movies..but i can't remember any quotes....shit i should apy attention more
While you were sleeping! That's what it's called!
Mellowlee, I'm no good at guessing quotes either. I told a student about the meme because he's totally into movie and I thought he and his blogging buddies might enjoy it. He immediately rattled some absolutely awesome quotes. The first went something like, "Just because you stick feathers up your ass doesn't make you a chicken." I probably butchered the quote entire but it went something along those lines!
Kelly, if you watch lots of movies consider yourself tagged!! Go hunt up some quotes on the Internet. That's how I did it.
Barbara, right you are. (#12)
All of those stump me, but then I don't watch many movies :]
