Calgary and Nanaimo, We Share Your Pain
Just wanted you to know that we too are suffering from old man winter. This is a picture of our heavy snowfall. No wonder why people in the rest of the country think we're a bunch of wimps here. Hard to believe that most of us are transplanted prairie people supposedly used to harsh conditions.
Hopefully all your white stuff, 24 cm so far in Nanaimo, will be gone soon and you can get back to signs like this:
I'm pretty lazy tonight so instead of actually writing a story about Butterscotch I will simply post some pictures of her. You have to admit she's pretty darn cute. Look at that tail. It's huge and it side swipes everything in her path. That tail has a life of its own.
Hey, that's my side of the couch. Freaky cat.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

That's one fuzzy cat - Love the last picture :]
Yeah, good weekend over here so far!
Dogga dogboy, glad you're having a good weekend. Hope you get to spend some time on your new motorized bike.
Its amazing how fast one becomes climatized, eh. I don't think I could handle a real winter again. And hopefully I won't have too!
Lovely pics. :)
Butterscotch really is adorable! I love her milk mustache!
Has your mayor called in the army to deal with the snow yet? Oh wait, that's what they do in Toronto.
Allison, well you will just have to a permanent posting in Victoria. I just happen to know of a free place one can stay at to check this winter free zone place out:) I only hope Canada doesn't seem too mundane for you after all your travels.
Barbara, that was so much fun when Toronto called in the army. It was like they were holding a "Mock me" convention, and mock we did.
Boy, are you EVER a great photographer...that second picture of Butterscotch is beautiful. I'm glad you two have each other. ;)
I couldn't believe the darned snow!! And even today it's freezing...just got back from "my rock" and my hands were numb. Geesh, enough already.
Deb, it's been crazy but I must admit I happen to live in a little pocket that saw very little. Ten blocks away and there was lots of snow but not where I am.
love love love that cat!
Butterscoth really is an adorable cat! Hope you're having fun with her.
I went home last weekend and saw some flowers (tulip I think) right, weeks after you! I just hope that we won't get snow here for the next few months, we had enough during the winter and still have some left
What an apapro(sp?) name. Cute, want another? Our damn black kittie is killing our woodwork. Hope you are having a nice weeks, sans snow. Spring seems to have landed here.
She is A-dorable :)
Gifted Typist, your comment made me laugh. How could anyone not love her!
Evelyne, about time you got to see a spring flower after being snowed under so much this winter. Are you now done all your exams?
Busterp, not a chance. I find one cat can create quite enough trouble thank you very much.
Boo, hello there. She definitely is an adorable cat. Her fur is unbelievably soft and silky.
Evelyne, I just read your blog and see you are most definitely not done yet. Hang in there, you're almost there.
Haha, that last picture is AWESOME LOL!
She is so cute and fluffy awwww!
Your cat reminds me of several we have had at my parents. All lovely and full of themselves.
Mellowlee, that picture makes me laugh too.
Leazwell, lovely and full of herself pretty much describes the little princess!
