The Blue Bike
I pass this bike every morning on my way to the ocean. The blue bike appeared not long ago and over time more stuff has been added. Behind those orange flowers is a card someone gave the bike. On the sidewalk someone has left it a message. The sidewalk message is brand new.
Just after 3:00 in the morning I could hear funny scratching noises in my apartment. I was worried I had an uninvited critter come calling but then I realized Butterscotch had left the bed and was obviously in the living room. Then I remembered the card I made for my sister's birthday sitting on top of the art table and suddenly I had visions of Butterscotch was mangling the card while playing with the ribbon on it so I ran into the living room but no cat on the table. The scratching sounds became louder and my heart sank because I know that sound. It's the same sound she makes in the kitty litter only she wasn't in the kitty litter she was tucked behind the television set. Great! So there I was at 3:21 in the morning on my hands and knees crawling under the television to clean up cat poop. Grrr. Good thing she's adorable.

For some reason she will only drink from the floating candle bowl. I have tried taking out the candles thinking it would be easier but she just did her little cat meows until I put them back.

oh, oh, that cat
my favorite combination, orange tabby and Maine Coon.
Absolutely adorable
PS, glad you're back
Gifted typist. She's a cutie alright. Her fur is unbelievably soft and her overall temperment is really sweet.
Oh no! What did you do to make her mad? Isn't that weird, I always assume it's for revenge.
She is a beauty though. I sure hope she doesn't try the candle bowl trick when the candles are lit.
Barbara, I don't know what's up. I am assuming she's not happy about the return of the students. Unfortunately, she just now pooped in the living room. Her cat litter was just changed and I'm persnickity about that so I just don't get it. The only thing I can promise her is that this time there will be no pawning her off to another owner. She's stuck with me!
