Chinese Horoscope
Today our Chinese community is having their parade to celebrate Chinese New Year. Rain or shine I will be down there and hopefully the rain will behave itself so I can get some pictures. I love the parade the dragon is always awesome and the parade itself always colourful.
This is my Chinese Horoscope that Boo sent me.

You oxens sound like real stand-up people. Isn't it peculiar that you are all great mentors, as that's what you do for a living? I'm a dog, a dog who is looking forward to the parade pictures.
Barbara, good morning. I was thinking when I read your years on graduation last night that I wished I had been more focused when I was younger and didn't wait so long between degrees. Focussing in on one thing will never be my strong point!

I was born in 1961-- I'm an Ox as well.
I'm also a Taurus. I'm sure most people would agree that I live up to the "stubborn" part of both horoscopes.
My son, who is half Chinese, looks forward every year to the New Year's parade in Chicago's Chinatown.

Johnny Yen, I too was born in 1961! I also have that stubborn streak and my temper can be fierce but ever so short lived. It's hard to believe but Victoria is supposed to have the second largest Chinatown in North America next to San Francisco.

Do you know Mayan Astrology? I'm an electric blue eagle in Mayan astrology. I have no idea what I am in Chinese astrology.
Wayward Son, an electric blue eagle? That sounds kind of cool. I don't know astrology in any culture. Boo, sent me my Chinese horoscope. Actually, I just realized you have to be an ox as well!
