Any day that starts off with news about my daily addiction being good for me is a good day. Decided a grande cup was in order just to make sure I don't get that gout thing in my big toe when I hit 60!
Hey Calgary what's with all the white stuff? I guess that's what you get for packing up all your snow shovels! Maybe mother nature is trying to send a message to Stephen Harper.
Freak snowstorms aside hope everyone is having themselves a grand Friday.

We will never be forgiven for spawning Stephen Harper, will we? Can't say I blame you!

I had an extra coffee today to fight off the gout as well. Now I'm having a glass of red wine, because surely that must be good for something as well.

That, my friend, is one killer playlist. Everything on there is pretty great!

Barbara, just add chocolate and you'll have everything covered!

I'll be gout free for life (GFFL). I've started on coffee again, but only occassionally.

I am totally embarrassed as I don't know one song on your playlist. I know the artists, just not the songs. I've got some listening to do.

I love that Sarah Harmer song, so much.

"hand shake drugs" always makes me miss my youth...

Deb, welcome back to the dark side along with the rest of us coffee drinkers. I drink it like it's the cure for everything so even if I cut my consumption in half I'm probably still drinking too much!

Allison, me too! She's one of those singers that I think I will always listen to unlike some that kind of come and go almost like fashion.

Junky, yea but just think what all you have done in your life. Not many can say they have had the life you've had. Wilco makes me think of you since I first heard them on links you posted. So thanks, they're awesome.

nice one with the stephen harper comment!

good list too!

668, I am worried we are going to be stuck with him for awhile. Yikes! His party as a majority is a nightmare I hope we can avoid.

i have somewhat resigned myself for him as a leader for awhile. what i fear most, is him getting a majority.

Toccata said...

Unfortunately, me too. The other parties are in such disarray that I don't see a change coming anytime soon. Hopefully, I am wrong.

Ice coffee is the drink for me these days, morning, mid-day, and beyond.

Oh I WANT a coffee now! I am so sad that I live further from all the great coffee shops on the drive now :O( *twitching*

Toccata said...

Leazwell, as soon as summer hits that is my drink as well. With milk no sugar. Can't stand sugar in my coffee hot or cold!

Mellowlee, knowing Starbucks it won't be long before one opens up in your area. You should write them and demand they open a Starbucks in your neighbourhood! :)

every time i play this game of putting my i-pod on shuffle to see what cool list comes up, right smack in the middle i get some song that's actually horrible but i kept for sentimental reasons because it reminds me of something that happened in high school.

so what my i-pod is really saying is "you're not as cool as you think you are". damn you, apple.

Toccata said...

anadamide, happens to me all the time. One time I had a Kelly Clarkson song come up and man was I ribbed for that one!
