Look Out!
I have finally figured out how to transfer my pictures onto Mr. Blogger. This took me a ridiculous amount of time and the computer has already flashed it`s five minute warning so I only have two to show. But now that I can do it look out!
This first picture was taken on Canada Day. I was more enamoured with the rainbow than anything. Somehow the rainbow just seemed to add to the ambiance of the night.
This was taken during the Comedy Fest that took place on my street. I was simply trying to get a shot that showed the number of people moving up my street. There`s a sea of people as far as the eye can see. It was like that every night for two weeks!
Well, I better hit publish before I`m cut off.

You're still on a time limit? Well, at least you got to publish a few picture. Love the rainbow :) Your street looks lovely, btw.
Yea. Glad to see you and your pictures. That looked like fun on the street. Have a nice weekend.
Hoorah, you've figured it out!
Love the rainbow pic :]
I love the street scene. To me there is nothing like a lively street (albeit NOT one that is bustling with suits on cell phones). I could never live in the country I guess.
i really like your first picture, the sky was amazing that night.
Sweet!
Oooh, pretty. The time you spent was SO worth it!:-)
the light is captured beautifully on that top shot, seriously!
nice :)

i'm so jealous, I would love to spend an extended holiday there (even if squirrels live there too)

To Everyone,
I think I win the award for breaking all the proper blogger etiquette rules. Blog hopping is pretty much out of the question while I am here. Just a couple of more weeks though and I have to leave Montreal. I am definitely going to miss the vibrancy and the architecture of this great city.
No contractions today. This is what happens when I try: canèt. What the heck happened here? I can not even do a backwards apostrophe!
Allison, Allison, I do not know if you have been to Montreal but you would love it.
Busterp, St. Denis is a fun street at least in the summer with all the different festivals.
Dogga, thanks. Hope you are having a grand summer and that you did not get too wet.
Barbara, I could never live in the country either. I need my daily fix of crowded coffeeshops and lots of action.
Evelyne, the sky was incredible that night! You were right about Ottawa being kind of bland.
Leazwell, hello. Hope you are having a lovely summer.
Slaygirl! It is so great to see you again. Hope you and your kids are having a great summer.
Gledwood, hi. I am just fine. Thanks. I certainly hope you are too. I will stop by once I head out of here. Thanks for stopping by. I have returned to my CBC radio since coming here. It would be the Canadian equivalent of the BBC radio. Take care Gleds.
Boo, once I am home I will no doubt bore you to tears with pictures!
Kelly, it does make for a nice change. You could have come and hung out with the firemen in front of my apartment during the Comedy Fest. A Comedy festival sounds like your cup of tea.
We are and I hope you are too. Thanks for asking:-)
